October is on its way and with it, those of us in the Northern Hemisphere will celebrate fall festivals and treats. While the warm mulled apple ciders warm our bellies, we revel in the fall colors littering our laws in hues of earthy brown, bright orange, and fiery reds. This is a time of year where some of us celebrate Halloween festivals that originated in the ancient my
th that the veil between realms of the physical and spiritual are thinner than the rest of the year and a time when the spiritual and physical can easily interact.

I have always found this time of year to feel very energetic with the cooler northern winds blowing and the sky becoming moodier with grey clouds swirling above as the last of this years leaves hang on before succumbing to their fate of dancing to the bed of earth beneath where it shall become a part of next year's soil.

I believe this is the spiritual new year as not only the trees but also other energies prepare for inner growth after absorbing what was learned throughout the year and gained through the peak of fruition and harsh heat of summer. Following autumn is winter where we rest and rejuvenate followed by a rebirth or resurrection of life vitality in the spring.

Numerologically, October is the tenth month of our calendar year which is the energy of pioneering and carries with it some restless mental energy. 10/1 energy seeks for us to develop our intuition so that we can bring forth elevated and illuminated knowledge to humanity. Each year we have additional energies that we are working with, so this year of 2024, October will have a theme and focus of completing something important for our spiritual growth.

October 2024 may bring about personal spiritual growth, lessons, and opportunities to develop faith in God and yourself. As this is a time of closeness to the spiritual realm, you might find rituals and prayer particularly effective and healing. Pay attention to your intuitive insights and rather than question if it's real, be curious and explore what you are learning.
