December, 2023 - Happy Winter Solstice!

 

December is a month that inspires the celebration of light, comfort, and inner safety while the weather grows gray and daylight diminishes. Energetically, December is the twelfth (12) month of the 2023 (7) year with an important Solstice on December (12) twenty-first (21). 

The story of the Winter Solstice has been celebrated in one form or another and remembered in various forms since humans began recording their stories and traditions. As the days of winter shorten, there is an energy as we saw in October (10) and November (11) to turn within while also in the Northern Hemisphere as the days grow shorter and colder, there is this parallel idea of transformation through a "death" and subsequent "rebirth". After the shortest day of the year, recognized as the Winter Solstice, the Light is reborn and begins to grow again. Some stories have a kind of savior story where the Divine is conceived and then born with this Sun cycle.

From a numerological, harmonic perspective, December's month energy of twelve (12) is quite interestingly aligned with the ancient stories of renewal during this time. Twelve energy is one of looking within meditatively and reflecting upon our own inner desires while simultaneously considering if our actions and desires have been aligned. 

On the surface, December is often a time of social activities and coming together which beautifully reflects the digit root energy of December (12: 1+2 = 3) three (3). Three also is the vibration of travel and so it's interesting that many of us travel to gather during this time of winter festivities. However, there is more to the three (3) vibration than socialization; this is an excellent time to declutter from within outward. 

Pulling together the 12 and 3 energies of December in general then is a perfect harmonic environment to consider what we truly want and clear out those mental, emotional, and physical things that are outdated systems of thinking, unresolved feelings, or space-taking cluttering items in our closets and cupboards. What I'm going to share with you next might just blow your mind.

Thinking about how it is a tradition to make a New Year's resolution might really be something that we just do because it's tradition, but it might also be really the active vibrational energy of this time. Not only do we have the amazing energies supporting us in December to reflect and refresh, we also have the Winter Solstice energy which is also a 12/3 energy!

Winter Solstice as mentioned above is 12/21 or the digital root of 3; so what does that mean and what's the difference between 12 and 21 if they both reduce to the 3 energy? Twenty-one (21) is an exciting energy of good fortune, success, and subconscious energy growth. However, we do need to consider one more factor for the Winter Solstice energy for the year of 2023 and then we'll wrap up with the total digital root for this year's energy of December 2023 and Winter Solstice.

As mentioned in prior articles, seven (7) is the teaching and learning energy in the Universe which allows us to obtain practical wisdom in a relatively short amount of time. Seven also brings us the energy to seek truth within so that we can find resolution in our lives. This year may have brought about some revelations and times of needed inner discipline which will carry through the rest of this month so that we can accomplish our dreams into physical reality.

In fact, looking into the deeply hidden energy of Winter Solstice, 2023, we find the energy of four (4) and here's how. 12/21/2023 = 3+3+4 --> 13 --> 4. Wow! Until we begin looking more into the energetic factors of our inner and outer realities, some things might remain in the blind spot and we might not fully grasp the lessons and directions intended for us.

Thirteen is equivalent to major changes brought about by transformation from within and release of both the tangible and intangible areas of your life. In fact, this energy is so transformative within the context of this year's Winter Solstice and sets us up for a complete renovation down to the preverbal studs of our metaphysical and metaphorical home. If you embrace this energy, you will be setting yourself up for the beautiful vibrations of success and stability. However, if we ignore those things that we have been putting off, then the change may reflect that energy of resistance; either way, transformation energy is coming to fruition and it's up to you how your embrace or rail against it.
