October, 2023

October of 2023 is a month of two eclipses, the solar eclipse on the 14th and a partial lunar eclipse on the 28th. Eclipses are a time of rapidly changing energy and possibly marks a period of inner reflection that is outside the regular cycles of consciousness. Thinking about what light is, a form of energy, in fact everything comes down to energy, but eclipses disrupt our regular patterns and light wave vibrational currents in our solar system.

What other energy patterns can eclipses disrupt and is disruption a bad thing?

Our entire known existence is based on energy from the macro to the micro fields of physical reality but if we consider the metaphysical impact beyond the atoms and stardust, we might consider the elements of ether and consciousness. You know, that feeling of when there's a full moon and the extra energy that pulses through the invisible veins of spiritual realms. So what happens where there's an eclipse?

When we say something or someone is eclipsing someone or something else, it often refers to overshadowing or outshining that other person, event, or thing. With the solar and lunar eclipses during this month, there is a vibrational implication for humanity and the evolution of our souls and possibly even events occurring around the time.

October is the tenth month of our calendar year that we all operate internally under. There are many calendars with variations for local events for festivals or religious observations but considering that the world agrees that this is the 10th month of the common year of 2023, let's take a look at the harmonics of these numbers.

Ten (10) is a vibration equivalent to the digital root of 1. Before we delve into the digital root, let's take a look at the vibrations of ten from the perspective of the sun and moon and the two eclipses. The 10 vibration is that of a guide and an evolved soul when well developed and when not well developed, the energy will present as a self-focused ego energy with the opportunities to evolve and grow the soul. This is the difference between the ten or the one energy, the ten is more evolved whereas the root digital has the potential to be focused on physical achievement for the self.

The year 2023 reduces to a digital root 7 vibration which also correlates to the physical plane of existence. This is an energy about teaching, learning, and analysis of real life experiences.

Considering the tenth month within the year of a 7 energy, we can consider this a month that we might see or experience drive toward personal or social growth - the difference is how mature we are. Since eclipses interrupt or disrupt the regular flow of energy, we can look to this month's energy as a teaching energy to look at personal and social life lessons and how we can apply them to the spiritual or mental realm.

Next month, November, is an Eleven (11) energy which reduces to a 2 root energy and will be a great time to absorb the lessons learned during this month of comforting October.

For many, October is a month of transition with new beginnings on the horizon following the impending traversing of sleepy winter. In the Northern Hemisphere, October is a time when temperatures begin to noticeably dip and forests boast with blazing color. Sunlight begins to change from a direct bright gold, to a more distant cooler light.
